  2. Compare planned reports with created reports.
  3. Check report status: draft, submitted, under review, approved or rejected.
  4. Identify reports waiting for review or approval.
  5. Use the result to estimate remaining work.

This should eventually be available as a dashboard, not only as manual report checking.

Use this when users need to find minimum, maximum or average values across report data.

  1. Choose the relevant Work Order, Project or date range.
  2. Select the report type and field to analyze.
  3. Calculate minimum, maximum and average values.
  4. Open the source report where an important value was registered.
  5. Use the result for process follow-up or quality review.

Analytics should preserve traceability back to the source report and revision.

Calculate total package weight

Use this when package reports contain weights that should be summarized by Work Order.

  1. Filter package reports by Work Order.
  2. Include only relevant report statuses, typically approved or accepted reports.
  3. Sum package weights across the selected reports.
  4. Check whether open NCRs or rejected reports should be excluded.
  5. Export or display the result as operational insight.

This is a good example of analysis that may not need its own PDF report.

Analytics versus controlled PDF

A controlled PDF is used when a specific approved report revision must be shared as controlled documentation.

Analytics is used when users need to understand data across reports, work orders, projects or time periods. The result may be a dashboard, table, export or operational insight instead of a formal report PDF.

Plan differences

Core can support basic report status views.

Professional can add stronger Work Order and progress analysis.

Enterprise can add cross-project analysis, inventory traceability, material consumption, asset usage and more advanced post-processing.
